Microsoft: We haven't stopped trying yet.
Dear reader,
Waking up early at 8A.M EST to watch the Microsoft E3 conference only to realize that I'm not on PST was a disappointment in and of itself. But the conference self was a whole different ball game of sorts. They first started off with the latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise Modern Warfare 3. The latest rehash of bloody screen effects and macho man psychology. Albeit I rather enjoyed running around war torn, Russian invaded suburban cities in MW2 the
multiplayer paled in comparison to CoD4's gameplay experience which ultimately lead me to not purchase a copy of Black Ops itself but rather partake in an "Extended Full Demo" of the Nazi Zombies mode.
Where would a Microsoft E3 conference be without Halo? Nowhere, this year Microsoft announced Halo Anniversary and Halo 4, Halo Anniversary being a retextured Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 4 being the start of a new Halo trilogy. I guess we have to finish the fight... again. The rest of the conference went like this
"KinectKinectKinectKinectKinectKinectKinectKinectKinectGamingexperienceKinectKinectKinectKinectKinect
KinectDisneylandKinectKinectKinectKinectKinect..."
And that's all I have to say about that.
